About Us.

The RBYA (Romanian Baptist Youth Association) is a derivative of the RBA (Romanian Baptist Association) in the USA and in Canada. Our vison and goal is to serve this generation of young people and point them to the One who will give them their true identity, worth and happiness: Jesus Christ.

RBYA does not replace the local church. That is why we strive to encourage pastors, youth leaders and especially parents, to support and serve in their local churches by teaching, encouraging, uniting, loving and discipling their youth.

Preamble:

The Romanian Baptist youth of the United States and Canada are organized as an association whose purpose is to unite Romanian Baptist youth of different Romanian Baptist churches for Christian fellowship, spiritual growth, a deeper knowledge of Scripture, as well as coordinating missionary activities. The Association is to uphold intact the teachings of the New Testament, the standard of holy Christian living and to share missionary experiences.

  1. Name and Components

    1. The organization of Romanian Baptist youth carries the official name: “The Romanian Baptist Youth Association of the United States and Canada” and consists of youth from Romanian Baptist churches affiliated with the Romanian Baptist Association of the United States and Canada.

    2. The members of this Association are all Baptist youth who are members in Romanian Baptist churches affiliated with the Romanian Baptist Association. Romanian Baptist youth who are apart of other Baptist churches, unaffiliated with the Association are also considered members; however, their rights extend to speaking and discussing, and they do not have the right to vote.

MISSION STATEMENT

To encourage youth leaders and parents, and to support local churches in their youth ministries by helping the local God-anointed leaders to reach, teach, encourage, excite, unite, and disciple Romanian youth in the USA and Canada.

VISION STATEMENT

Because we believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal salvation and because we understand the many difficulties young people encounter in their pursuit of Christ, the vision of RBYA is to serve the Romanian Baptist youth of the United States and Canada by assisting the local churches in leading the youth to Christ and helping them grow in the knowledge and character of Christ.
